These interactive on-line courses, taught from a Biblical worldview by a nationally known creation scientist, will prepare your student for high school, college science and their station in life!

Courses Include:

1. Students have their own username and password to access their online course(s)
   • -Students can access classes from anywhere with internet
2. Online classes available to be watched 24/7 for 90 days per class! View labs demonstrated and recorded one on one with Catie Frates to insure maximum student benefit!
   • - These classes are recorded in front of a live class
   • - Your student will see the labs preformed as they were intended to be preformed
3. Access to Catie Frates for questions and clarification via e-mail
   • - Students will still have access to Catie Frates scientific expertise
4. Students will have weekly assignments to complete as specified on the syllabus
   • - Tests are graded in "class"
   • - Suggested grading format is provided!
   • - Ultimately, parents are in control of assigning grades

Accountability and Structure

In addition to the Standard Interactive Option features, your student will benefit from:

• Live online weekly question and answer session with Catie Frates for clarification of course material (via GoToWebinar.com online meetings)
• Student must keep up with assigned dates in the course syllabus, as the weekly Q&A sessions will be specific to that week's material
• Ability to email Catie as needed with further questions
• Limited Space for maximum student benefit, Catie will interactive directly with students online

Flexibility and Parental Control

• Student is free to go through course at their own pace
  • - Online classes offer complete flexibly with ability to be viewed anywhere you have internet, anytime you want, as many times as you want for 90 days per class!
  • - Each class can viewed for 90 days, each class does not start 'to age' until you watch that class!
  • - Parent determines the speed at which the student advances!
• Archive of Weekly Question and Answer session with Catie in FAQs on site
• After reviewing the FAQs, students may e-mail Catie up to three times per module (e-mails may include as many questions as needed)

The Apologia curriculum and content of the classes will prepare students to earn college credit through the College Level Placement Exams (CLEP Tests) as well as excel in College Science! If course is completed as directed students can fulfill High School Science with labs credits and meet Florida Bright Futures Requirements!

Middle School Science

Courses to be available Fall 2009

The youth science program is designed for Middle School aged students (grades 6-8). Each course of the program starts with a short overview of the Biblical Scientific Creation Model of Origins to make sure students understand how science and natural history fit into their Bible. These courses will prepare your student for High School Science while teaching them about God's creation!

Catie’s Vision

It is Catie’s desire as a sister in Jesus and a Christian educator to assist parents by providing interactive college preparatory science classes which are taught from a thoroughly Biblical worldview.  She continually updates to include the latest scientific finds possible, assigning and discussing additional reading assignments when it enhances the subject matter.  Catie’s simple way of teaching makes complicated concepts understandable.  Her enthusiasm and excitement for pursuing God through the study of science has been contagious for many of her students.  Some who had never enjoyed science have felt called to scientific careers after experiencing and sharing in her love of God and science.
